District and Regional trials

All schools receive information from district sport secretaries regarding dates and venues for district and regional trials and state carnival details. School sport coordinators then advertise district trials to all students via school notices. Students can then nominate to attend and schools then send eligible students to district trials, where qualified teachers and coaches select students into a district team that will represent their district at a regional trial.  Students they may be chosen to represent the region at state championships.
QSS coordinates the regional programs for all of the school sport regions. From the regional program, state representative school sport teams are selected to compete at interstate, national or international events.
